Welcome to my website (called PD and me) dedicated to exploring various topics related to Parkinson's Disease. Here I share insights from my personal journey, research findings, and effective strategies I've discovered to cope with the challenges of living with Parkinson's. My hope is that this resource will provide support and information for others navigating similar experiences.

The information I have collected here relates mostly to Parkinson's Disease - understanding it, and living well with it. I have grouped the information into topics that I believe are the ones which influence the progression of PD.
In addition there are some general topics for other subjects I find interesting.

Parkinson’s Disease has been recognized for two centuries, yet the groundbreaking idea that exercise could serve as an effective treatment didn't emerge until 2009.

Social connections
Strong social connections are vital for people with Parkinson's (PwP) to combat isolation, reduce depression, and maintain cognitive health. This is another area I am still focused on improving.

Sufficient sleep is crucial for our overall well-being, yet over 50% of people with Parkinson’s struggle with sleep disturbances. I’ve researched this topic deeply, covering both general sleep health and PD-specific issues. Click here to see the resources and information I’ve compiled.

Nutrition
Maintaining a healthy diet is one of the most effective ways for individuals with Parkinson's to positively influence the course of their condition. This is an area I am still focused on improving.

I follow numerous podcasts - here are some of them
